Johne's disease in sheep
(Mycobacterium paratuberculosis)

This bacterial (paratuberculosis) disease is responsible for a chronic, wasting, immune suppressive condition in SHEEP, cattle.

The disease is incurable ( not treatable ) and is considered as a notifiable and an erosion disease
(profit eater !)

The disease is treated with a greater REGULATORY status by STATE authorities than vs bovine Brucellosis or bovine Tuberculosis. The question should be, WHY ? This disease is not a known ZOONOSIS
